JOANNA SYCH Pediatric physiotherapist
Pediatric physiotherapist, NDT Bobath Joanna Sych
My name is Joanna Sych. I graduated from the Faculty of Physiotherapy at the Medical University of Wrocław. From the very beginning I have been fascinated by working with the youngest patients, therefore, while still at university, I took part in many trainings which deepened my knowledge in this field.
In my work I mainly use the principles of the NDT-Bobath method, which works well with babies (including premature babies), older children with damage to the central nervous system, genetic syndromes and psychomotor delays.
An integral part of my therapy is working closely with the child's carer. During the sessions, I try to get as much information as possible from you regarding your child's day-to-day functioning (not in the artificially created conditions that prevail in the exercising room) and to provide as many practical (and uncomplicated) tips on how to support your child's development at home. Working together in this way allows the effects of therapy to emerge and be consolidated more quickly.
The aim and challenge for me is to create such conditions for the Little Patient that the therapy is not only challenging but also enjoyable.
In my spare time, I escape to the mountains, plan trips, or go horse riding.
